Chilli con carne, often referred to simply as "chilli," which is a beloved dish with a rich history that spans across several cultures, particularly in the United States and Mexico. This hearty stew combines key ingredients such as beef, chilli peppers, tomatoes, onions, garlic, and a variety of spices, including cumin and oregano.
INGREDIENTS
1 Onion, chopped
1 Chilli, chopped
1 Tbsp OilÂ
1 200 g x IMANA Chilli Beef Flavour Super Soya Mince packet
2 cups Water
1 tin (410g) Chopped Tomatoes
1 tin Red Kidney Beans, drainedÂ
METHOD
Fry the chopped onion and chilli in oil for 2 - 3 minutes.Â
Add a tin of tomatoes, 1 packet (200 g) IMANA Chilli Beef Flavour Super Soya Mince packet with 2 cups of water into the pot and allow to simmer while stirring well, for 10 - 15 minutes.Â
Add the tin of drained red kidney beans and allow beans to heat through.Â
Best served with rice, pasta, potato, pap and samp.Â
