Olive and Mushroom Tapenade is a spread that originated from Mediterranean culinary traditions. This spread is crafted by blending olives and mushrooms with herbs and spices, offering a savoury and versatile condiment for various dishes.
INGREDIENTS
200g Mushrooms
2 Tbsp Oil
1 Tbsp Garlic, crushed
40g Black olives
3 Tbsp Cream cheese
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Parsley, finely chopped
3 tsp IMANA Cream of Mushroom Flavoured Soup
Pinch of black pepper
METHOD
Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
Roughly chop the mushrooms before adding them to the pan and fry until cooked.
Add the garlic to the pan and cook until fragrant. Set the pan aside and allow to cool.
In a small bowl mix together the cream cheese and the IMANA Cream of Mushroom Flavoured Soup. Once combined scoop it into a blender.
Roughly chop the olives before adding them to the blender.
Add the salt, pepper and finely chopped parsley to the mix.
Once the mushrooms and garlic have cooled add them to the blender and blend until combined, the level of smoothness is completely up to you.
Add to a serving bowl or jar and enjoy!
