The origins of BBQ ribs started in the Caribbean where they traveled North and ended up in American kitchens and then all over the world. BBQ ribs are best served with a delicious sweet and sticky BBQ sauce that must be eaten with your hands.
INGREDIENTS
60ml Oil
125ml ChutneyÂ
60ml Boiling waterÂ
2 Garlic cloves, crushed
125ml Barbeque sauce
Steak or ribs
1 IMANA Roast Meat Flavoured Gravy
METHOD
In a large dish, mix the IMANA Roast Meat Flavoured Gravy powder with barbeque sauce, chutney, water, oil and the crushed garlic.
Place steak or ribs in the marinade for about 1 hour before braaing or grilling.
Use marinade to baste while cooking.
