Beef and Cabbage Stew draws inspiration from the traditional Irish Stew, which is a staple of Irish cuisine. Irish Stew typically consists of lamb or beef, onions, and root vegetables such as carrots and turnips. Cabbage is also a common ingredient in Irish cuisine, and it adds a unique flavour and texture to the stew.
INGREDIENTS
20ml Oil
1 Onion, chopped
400g Beef, cubed
200g Cabbage, chopped
100g Carrots, chopped
1 IMANA Slow Roast Short Rib Flavoured Gravy
METHOD
Fry the onion for 5 minutes in the oil.Â
Add in the beef and cabbage to the pan and fry until cooked.
Add the carrots to the pan.
Prepare the Imana Slow Roast Short Rib Flavoured Gravy as per packet instructions before adding to the pan.
Cook until the beef is tender.
Serve with rice or pap.
