A HERITAGE WE CAN BE PROUD OF...

The origins of Bolognaise are found in the city of Bologna, Italy where fresh pasta was served with slow-cooked meat and tomatoes. Nowadays, Spaghetti Bolognaise is eaten all over the world and loved by many for its simple but delicious flavours.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 Tbsp Oil

  • 500g Beef mince

  • 1 Onion, chopped

  • 100g Tomato paste

  • 400ml Cold water

  • 1 IMANA Spaghetti Bolognaise Cook-in-Sauce

METHOD

  1. Fry the onion and mince in the oil. 

  2. Add 400ml cold water to the pan, stir in the IMANA Spaghetti Bolognaise Cook-in-Sauce powder and bring to the boil while stirring.

  3. Add the tomato paste to the pan. 

  4. Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve with cooked spaghetti.
